Ms. Käthe Menzel-Jordan - of Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany - celebrated 108 years of life earlier this month.

She was born on 7 September 1916 in Erfurt. Last June Ms. Menzel-Jordan received honorary citizenship of her hometown Erfurt.
