Ms. Elisabeth Wallhäuser - of Memmingen, Bavaria, Germany - celebrated her 109th birthday this week.

She was born on 23 January 1915 in Brünn, Moravia, Austria-Hungary, present day Brno, Czech Republic.

In the same retirement home is living her daughter Gertrud Köpplinger (81y). 

According to the newspaper article, Ms. Wallhäuser has a living sister in Augsburg, Bavaria.
