Ms. Tane Matsubara turned 114 years old on 15 October 2023. She is currently the oldest living person in Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan.
She was born in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, on 15 October 1909.
After 112-year-old Take Taniguchi of Muroran went into limbo in December 2021, Ms. Matsubara became the oldest living person in Hokkaido Prefecture.
Happy 114th birthday, Ms. Matsubara!

Happy belated birthday, Mrs Matsubara. I believe she might well be the first person in Hokkaidō prefecture to have reached the age of 114.
