The Vice-Doyenne of Germany,
Ms. Erna Brosig - of Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany - sadly passed away on 23 July 2024, aged 113 years and 190 days.
She was born on 15 January 1911 in Breslau, Silesia, present day Wroclaw, Poland.

I just see that the son of Ms. Brosig died in last March, 2 Month after her 113th birthday. Very sad.

She was the 10th oldest living person in Europe, 67th oldest in European history, she died at the same age as Germaine Haye (FRA, 1888-2002), the 4th oldest to die in Germany, the oldest living person in Lower Saxony and the oldest in history to die there, Adele Lankenau (48th oldest in German history) born on 27 Mar 1913 is the oldest living there now. 329th oldest documented person in history, 18th oldest living person. She was the 2nd oldest living person born in Poland and the 2nd oldest living person born in Lower Silesia, the 5th oldest Polish emigrant of all time
