Ms. Margaret Romans of Montreal, Quebec, Canada celebrated her 113th birthday on Sunday.
She was born in Riga, Latvia (then part of the Russian Empire) on 16 March 1912 and emigrated to Canada in 1948.
She is currently the oldest Latvian-born person, the oldest person in the province of Quebec, and oldest person in Canada.
