Dominican Republic’s Oldest Known Resident Celebrates 110th Birthday
María Altagracia Antigua, a resident of Duarte, Dominican Republic, celebrated her 110th birthday on 21 January. At the moment, she is the nation’s oldest (known and validated) living person. Her birthday was first reported by Remolacha.
María Altagracia Antigua was born in Dominican Republic on 21 January 1915. She married and had 10 children, who gave her later at least 53 grandchildren.
She credited her longevity to living a quiet and peaceful life.
She currently lives in Duarte, Dominican Republic.
Her age was validated by LongeviQuest on 27 January.
