I had found a man not listed on here before named Hormidas Fredette who was born on 10 August 1917 and resides in New Minas, Nova Scotia. He is the last surviving Canadian veteran of the the Battle of Hong Kong during WW2 and was a POW in China during the war. He would be the new person in 8th place now, and James McRae (whose name has been misspelt as McCrae on this list) would only have just entered the top ten 

@ale76 do you know anything about if Mr. Carnevale has been confirmed alive in the last year? (The only records of him are on the Italian longevity website)

Harold Chapman sadly died on the 14th November 2023 at the age of 106.

Keeping his death a secret for three years is certainly very impressive!

Would be nice if we will ever find out his exact date of death.

I have found a few posts on a man named Robert in Mississauga, Ontario, born on 18 November 1916. He was last confirmed alive around his 106th birthday. From the certificate in the photo I think his last name might be Valkers but the photo is blurry. He may be the fourth-oldest man in the country
