According to her MyHeritage profile, she died on 11 September 2021, aged 105. The mention about her at 108 was not a direct confirmation.

@billy-robinson I saw that at the time, but wasn't sure enough to declare it a "death". She hasn't been truly confirmed alive in quite a while now, so I wouldn't expect her to be living.

So maybe limbo then, no?

Berthe Courtemanche entered the list on April 15, 2024.
Ontario reaches 7 names on the list, its record.
For the first time here we have no one over 111.
For the first time here the oldest person in Canada is a man.
Saskatchewan made its debut in the top 10 here, but didn't last long and has already left.
