I will try researching historical (before 2015?) cases of Aruba. So far no 102 (or 100+) who died before 2015 (except Koolman) has been found by me.

Here is an...interesting...case to say the least.

A Suriname-born man of Aruba by the name of James Williams was reported as the oldest man ever to live in Aruba in July 2021, can anyone find more about this man?

Edit: Here is a 105th birthday confirmation for him: 24ora.com/james-williams-a-celebra-su-105-ana dated 22 Dec 2020. I'm unsure of his full DOB but it's safe to say he is a true case.

Didn't know why this wasn't posted but Maria Louisa Benjamin actually died on the first day of November 2021.

His name is Henry Bengis and he was born in the USA on 23/24 May 1921.

Like actually-- super interesting. He was a WWII Veteran and seems to have moved to Aruba after age 94.

He comes to Aruba every year, possibly for his birthday, since he was in his 80's.

There are also numerous cases that I am unsure about due to me being almost/completely unable to see the grave, even TWO 106, and a 103.

James Williams was likely deported to Suriname in late 2021. He moved to Aruba in 2017 but sadly he does not have a residence permit so he was likely deported. For now we should have a LIMBO sign on his Gerontology Wiki pages. He was still in Aruba in July 2021.

@rich_villa He was last confirmed alive in July 2022 at the age of 106. (probably in Aruba).

died on 18 June 2023,now the oldest person in Aruba is Helen John, but his date of birth is uncertain, being 1915 or 1916 and the oldest man is Frans Croes born on 10/May/1918
