111-year-old Mineyo Miyai (宮井みねよ) (bottom of the picture) and 110-year-old Keiko Matsumura (松村けいこ) (top of the picture) both live in the same retirement in Wakayama City, Wakayama. Miyai was born on 20 July 1912; Matsumura was born on 24 January 1913.

The oldest living person in Yamanashi prefecture is 112-year-old Haruyo Fukazawa (深沢春代) of Fujikawa, born on 21 March 1911. The oldest living man is 108-year-old Shigeyoshi Nishijima (西嶋重義) of Kōfu.

The oldest living person in Kashiwazaki, Niigata is a 110-year-old woman. She may coincidentally be the oldest living person in the prefecture, but this is by no means certain.

After Haruyo Fukasawa (深沢春代)'s death, 111-year-old Yoshiko Naitō (内藤富子) (not Tomiko, note that we can read the furigana rendering of her name) of Yamanashi City, born on 10 February 1912, became the oldest living person in Yamanashi prefecture.

The oldest living person in Fukishima prefecture is a 109-year-old woman living in Kōriyama, born in early 1914. There are two other 109-year-olds in Fukushima prefecture. The oldest man is 107-year-old Sadao Ejiri (江尻貞雄) of Iwaki, born in March 1916.

Kumamoto City, Kumamoto reports 110-year-old Miho Matsuzaki (松崎三保), born on 18 April 1913, as its oldest living citizen. She is also the oldest living person in the prefecture. Kumiko Haraguchi (原口くみ子), born on 2 September 1913, is the second supercentenarian in the city, although - strictly speaking - as the ages were of 1 September 2023, she was 109 years and 364 days old when she was last confirmed alive. The oldest man in the city is anonymous and 109 years old.
