As of 1 January 2026, there is still 1 110-year-old woman and 111-year-old man living in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto. This means Momo Katoaka (3 Dec 1915) and Hikaru Kato are still alive. There are also 3 109-year-old women. One of them is a woman born in December 1916, one is Toki Hirota (7 Feb 1916) and one is a woman born in March 1916.
