Ms. Lotte Kalkstein née Kleinschmidt - of Celle, Lower Saxony, Germany - sadly passed away on 14 September 2024, aged 108 years and 127 days.
She was born on 10 May 1916, in the middle of World War I.

Interesting that the WWI-era generation of Germans is already rapidly passing away. 🙁 Very sad. 🙁
By the early 2030s, there won't be any Germans who were already alive at the time of the German Empire (1871-1918).
