Alfred Ziegler - of Zurich, Switzerland - passed away on 12 March 2022 at the age of 109 years, 18 days.
He was born on 22 February 1913. He was the oldest living man in Switzerland, and the third-oldest known man ever in Switzerland, behind Pierre Gremion, and Fritz Bosch.
RIP... we lost another living national longevity recordholder at 109.
