Mr.Β Albert Middleton of Saanich, British Columbia (CAN) sadly passed away on 12 February 2025, aged 109.
He was born on 11 March 1915 in the UK.
He was the Doyen of Canada

Albert is the 11th oldest man in Canadian history, his successor is the 14th
He was the oldest living male emigrant
He was the oldest man in Canada since 27 Aug 2023 (1 yr, 169 days), the shortest time since Joseph Ernest Poupart, who was between 5 Aug 2013 and 19 Apr 2014 (257 days), he was also the youngest since the same Joseph who died at 109 years, 15 days
He was the sixth man from British Columbia to be considered the oldest in Canada, the 3rd in a row
The eighth British emigrant in history is him
James Easton is now the oldest living emigrant now, he was born on 12 Dec 1916 and is the 20th oldest living British emigrant
