Ms. Luigia Giunchedi of Faenza, Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna Region (ITA) sadly passed away on 20 February 2026, aged 109.
She was born on 2 August 1916 in Riolo Terme, Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna Region (ITA).
She was the OLP in Emilia-Romagna Region, 29th OLP in Italy.

Giuseppa Bruzzi, born on August 4, 1916, is the oldest living person in Emilia Romagna now.
She was the oldest living person in that region since June 10, 2025 (255 days), the longest time since Claudia Baccarini (September 11, 2020 - December 24, 2024, 4 years, 104 days).
She died at 109 years, 202 days, the youngest in that position in history. Her predecessor was the youngest previously, Nerina Medri, who died at 109 years, 214 days on June 10, 2025.
She is the first person from Riolo Terme to be considered the oldest in the Emilia Romagna region.
