Mrs. Irene Dunham from Lansing, Michigan, USA sadly passed away on May 1, 2022; aged 114.
She was born on December 16, 1907.
Rest in peace, Mrs. Dunham.

As an aside, depending on whether Ardith Grose is still living, there are now only either 9 or 10 documented people alive who were born in the United States during the administration of Theodore Roosevelt (1901-1909).

Irene was one of the strongest supercentenarians ever at 114, and like others, I also think her death is quite shocking. She'll be terribly missed.

Such sad news. In recent photos she seemed to have been getting a little bit weaker compared to how she looked in late 2021, but it was still hard to imagine her dying anytime soon, especially considering how strong she was on her 114th birthday.
