The oldest known living person in Panama, Mrs. Marcelina Arauz of Los Llanos, Ocu District, has sadly passed away on 26 March 2022 at the age 112 years, 298 days.
Her death is due to COVID-19, so she became the oldest victim of the disease in Latin America.
She was born on 1 June 1909.
Rest in peace.
