Bessie Laurena (Sharkey) Hendricks - of Lake City, Iowa, United States - sadly passed away on the 3rd January 2023, at the age of 115 years, 57 days. She was born on the 7th November 1907 in Carroll County, Iowa, United States.
At the time of her death, Bessie Hendricks was the 4th oldest living validated person in the world, the oldest living validated person in the United States and the oldest ever validated person born in the state of Iowa.
May she rest in peace.

Ms. Bessie Hendricks (OLP in the USA) sadly passed away on 3 January 2023, at the age of 115 years, 57 days. She was born in Carroll County, Iowa (USA) on 7 November 1907, and had been the oldest living American for nearly a year.

Very difficult to digest. Mrs. Hendricks was a unique woman and will be remembered. May she R.I.P. Condolences to her family.
