Mrs. Custódia Maria Inácia sadly passed away during the night of 14/15 July at the age of 110 years and 79/80 days, as reported by her grandson and by a friend of hers.
She was born on 26 April 1913, in Odemira, Beja District. She is the first known supercentenarian from the region of Alentejo, where she lived until the age of 105. She lived in the nursing home Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Faro, in Faro (city and district of Faro) the last five years of her life.
She was the fourth-oldest known living person in Portugal.

RIP Mrs. Inácia. It seems she passed away in the night of 13-14 July 2023, not 14-15 July.
Interested in supercentenarians since 27 July 2018.
First supercentenarian I learned about: Kane Tanaka (1903-2022)

@charlesm09 you're right! the post said it was 1 day ago and I deduced it was yesterday (but now it says 2 days ago). Anyway I'm going to research her case next week and soon I'll know when she actually passed away.
