So thank you for your excellent efforts with the English language.

He was the 36th oldest known person in Europe, 49th oldest known person in German history

RIP

She not he

Sorry once again, explaining why this is happening: when I put it was the person, the automatic translator already puts he, sorry, I'll try to remember next time
Thanks for letting me know about this error

Remember that Brosig was validated on 27 November. Knowing the GRG that doesn't necessarily mean she was alive then but I can only presume her death would have been reported (unless it is a common thing in Germany for deaths to go unreported). We'll know in a few days if she is alive because her birthday has already been reported on for the last few years

Are we sure that Erna Brosig and Hildegard Rau have passed away or is it possible that the article was mistaken, as has previously been the case with the media.]]> 2023 Simon Frogg https://globalsupercentenarianforum.com/index.php/community/deaths110-2023/gertrud-blohm-ger-1912-2023/#post-16485 RE: Gertrud Blohm (GER, 1912-2023) https://globalsupercentenarianforum.com/index.php/community/deaths110-2023/gertrud-blohm-ger-1912-2023/#post-16482 Thu, 11 Jan 2024 23:55:29 +0000 @ale76 Ruhe in Frieden, Frau Blohm. The article says she was the 2nd-oldest, meaning Erna Brosig and Hildegard Rau likely also passed away in 2023.
