Mrs Hanayo Hashimoto (橋本はなよ) of Tsuyama, Okayama, Japan, the oldest living person in the prefecture, died on 19 May 2023, aged 110. She was born on 30 September 1912.
Her successor as oldest living person in the prefecture is Mrs Masako Soga (曽我マサコ) of Ibara, aged 110, born on 23 February 1913.
May Mrs Hashimoto rest in peace.
