Sadly, the doyenne of Poland - Mrs. Józefa Ciesielska (née Staniszewska) - of Witkowo, Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland - passed away on 3 August 2023 at the age of 111 years, 150 days. She was born on 6 March 1912. Rest in peace.
Interested in supercentenarians since 27 July 2018.
First supercentenarian I learned about: Kane Tanaka (1903-2022)

RIP Ms. Ciesielska, Doyenne of Poland.
She became the oldest known living person in Poland following the death of 111-year-old Ms. Szajowska, on 26 Aug. 2022.
