Ms. Kame Uema sadly passed away in late September 2023, aged 114 years old.
She was born between 19 June and 28 August 1909 in Japan and she passed away in Nakijin, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan.
On 4 July 2023, Ms. Uema was reported as the oldest known living person in Okinawa Prefecture (after the death of Ms. Makishi).
At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Okinawa Prefecture.

RIP Mrs. Uema; hopefully she can be validated now. She entered the top ten sometime early 2023. She was at least the seventh-oldest person behind Maria, Fusa, Edie, Tomiko, Inah, and Juan, and maybe have been eighth or ninth depending on whether her birth date was before of after Elizabeth and Ethel's
This would mean a few things:
The period of five months with no top ten deaths (Makishi to Tatsumi) would be cut in half; however it would still mean all top ten deaths in the second half of 2023 were Japanese
The final thirteen people born in the 1900s that we thought existed from 4 July to 12 December were still the final 13, but it was just cut down to thirteen in September. So Tane was still 12th-last, Pearl was 11th, Edie was 10th, and Juan was 9th
Matsubara and Taira were in fact in the top ten at the time of their deaths (if Uema was still alive they wouldn't be) and Taira was the oldest person in Okinawa. Also note that Uema had the same first name as her sister who she sadly failed to outlive
Six people from Okinawa (almost seven) have reached the age of 114, and not a single one reached 115. The oldest Okinawan is now Shizuko Kiyuna, born in June 1912

She was the oldest person on Okinawa since approximately 15 Feb 2023 (between 198 and 228 days), staying longer than her predecessor Ushi Makishi who stayed 52 days, who died at approximately 114 years old, Uema died at 114 years old and 4-74 days, he was the second person from Nakijin to be the oldest in Okinawa, the previous one was Sayo Taminato who died on 7 Aug 2020

What exactly do you mean? Her date of death is shown in all reliable webpages. Where are you looking?
I saw it on the grg wiki
Don't trust everything you see there
From what I've seen, several people on the wiki want to include LQ validations but the one moderator won't allow it
