Sources do not exist on the Internet, and was reported by a Japanese person that the obituary was published in a local newspaper.

Miyao Majima passed away on 7 April by natural causes. (...)

Sources do not exist on the Internet, and was reported by a Japanese person that the obituary was published in a local newspaper.

Actually, an online obituary including a picture for her does exist - you will have to use Google Search. 😉

May Mrs Mashima rest in peace.

EDIT: apologies, I misspelled her name.

Overduidelijk misschien.

I sometimes dislikes to search about Japanese oldest people because I didn't like to read an extra 2ch (5ch) site where a lot of trolls and bad words are posted.

Sorry for making such a mistake, I'll be more, more careful in the future.

PS - Record_116, the online obituary clearly identifies her name as 'Miyao Mashima' (so not 'Majima') in hiragana.

Overduidelijk misschien.

@marco Thanks, I fixed. So her name on https://www.grg-supercentenarians.org/world-supercentenarian-ranking-list/ is wrong.
