It is with a heavy heart that LongeviQuest announces the passing of Noemia Vieira de Souza, who held the title of the oldest documented living individual in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. Mrs. Vieira de Souza peacefully departed from this world on August 26, 2023, at the age of 111.
