RIP Mrs. Kürner (1911-2023). If she was the oldest woman in Austria, doesn’t that mean Mrs. Tröstl has passed away too, at the age of 112 years, 0-44 days?
Interested in supercentenarians since 27 July 2018.
First supercentenarian I learned about: Kane Tanaka (1903-2022)

@charlesm09 I think it is rather an error of the newspaper, but one can never be sure.
There is no current public death report of Mrs. Tröstl.

Stefanie Kürner née Sunzenauer was born Dec. 7 1911 at 5 a. m. and baptized the same day in St. Peter am Wimberg, Upper-Austria, Austrian Empire.
Father: Franz Sunzenauer, farmer, son of Michael Sunzenauer and Maria Sunzenauer née Wakolbinger, born March 29 1881.
Mother: Franziska Sunzenauer née Hehenberger, daughter of Franziska Haslinger née Hehenberger, born May 15 1886.
The parents married September 9 1907.
