She passed away on June 18 at the age of 113 years and 58 days.

She was born in Brazil on April 21, 1911. Earlier this year, the woman’s age was documented by a research team comprising Gabriel Ainsworth, Iara Souza, and Filipe Lopes. Her age was officially validated on February 9.

At the time of her passing, she was the fourth-oldest living person in Brazil, following Inah Canabarro LucasIzabel Rosa Pereira (whose age was not validated until October), and Yolanda Beltrão de Azevedo.

May she rest in peace.

RIP. The April 1911 cohort is now extinct assuming Emi Miura has in fact died
