Update: documents from 1930s and 1940s were found and confirm that the claimed birth date is true. A birth/baptism certificate is still missing though, but Carmen Moreno is now considered a genuine case.

At the time of her death, she could be the 3rd OLP in France behind Ms. Tessier (b. 21 May 1910) and Ms. Bertoletto (b. 1 January 1911).

May she rest in peace.

A previous unknown 113 y.o. claim has been discovered recently.

Mrs. Carmen Moreno Conesa, widow of Pedro Antonio Fernandez, residing in Aubagne, Bouches-du-Rhône, France, passed away in Rousset, same department, on 31 May 2024 at the claimed age of 113 years and 90 days.

INSEE death record (confirmed by death certificate)

She claimed to be born in "Fuente Alamo", Spain, on 2 March 1911. Considering the occurrence of the surname Conesa, her place of birth is probably Fuente Álamo de Murcia.

A short mention of her was found in the municipal magazine of Rousset, dated February 2018, where it's written that Carmen Moreno celebrated her 106th birthday at the nursing home in the previous March, which fits the abovementioned information.

Anyone who could obtain further information or documents about her is welcome to help.
