Ms. Dolores Maria Vazquez, the oldest known living person in Panama, sadly passed away in Natá, Coclé Province, on October 23rd, at the age of 113 years, 175 days.
Ms. Vázquez was born in Natá, Coclé Province, Panama, on 1 May 1911.

She is the second oldest validated person in the history of Panama, her successor occupies the 8th position, but is not validated, Macario Barria Cardena was born on 10 Mar 1913, she is the second oldest validated person born in 1911 to die. She was the oldest person in Panama since 26 Mar 2022 (2 yrs, 211 days), the person who remained in that position the longest since there is reliable data in the country, breaking the record that belonged to her predecessor, Marcelina Arauz de Maure who remained 1 yrs, 259 days between 10 July 2020 and 26 Mar 2022, she died at the highest age among the oldest people in Panama since Guillermina Acosta Bilbao (115 years, c.80 days) on c.15 Feb 2017 (she is not validated) and is the first person from Cocle to be considered the oldest in Panama, she is the 3rd oldest Central American person in history
