Ms. Eudocia Barría Barrientos sadly passed away in Puerto Montt, Los Lagos Region, Chile, on 5 March 2024, at the age of 113 years, 24 days.
She was born on the island of Mechuque, belonging to the Chiloé Archipelago in the Los Lagos Region, Chile, on 10 February 1911.
She was the oldest known validated living person in Chile.
On 30 January 2024, she was visited by LongeviQuest and presented with a certificate acknowledging her status as Chile’s oldest living person.

She was the 3rd oldest known person in Chilean history
The oldest person in Chile is now an anonymous woman born on Aug 31, 1913, she is the 17th oldest known person in Chilean history
currently.Eudocia was the oldest person in Chile since 14 Jan 2022
