Ms. Giovanna Maccari of Gandino, Bergamo, Lombardy Region, Italy, sadly passed away today, aged 110 years and 12 days.
She was born in the same village on 27 August 1914.
She was the 23rd OLP in Italy and the 5th OLP in Lombardy Region.
Riposi in pace signora Giannina.

She died at the same age as Dolores Buitrago Ruiz (SPA, 1914-2014), Pasqualina Silvestri (ITA, 1899-2010) and Maria Francesca Vernile (ITA, 1904-2014), and was considered the 122nd oldest living person in Europe.
