Ms. Gunborg Hancock of Stockholm, Stockholm c., (SWE) sadly passed away on 16 October 2024, aged 112 years and 179 days.
She was born on 20 April 1912 in Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland.
She was the OLP in Sweden and in all Nordic Countries.
She is the 2nd Oldest Person ever lived in Sweden behind Ms. Zachrison (113).
She has been the oldest living person in Sweden since the death of 112 year old Flarid Lagerlund on 9 April 2022. A few months later, on 18 July 2022, she became the oldest living person in the Nordic countries following the death of Finland’s Astrid Qvist.
RIP Ms. Hancock.
