Ms. Ilse Bartling - of Hameln, Lower Saxony, Germany - sadly passed away on 17 October 2024, aged 110 years and 101 days.
She was born on 8 July 1914 and grew up in Oldenburg, she was married twice.
At the time of her death Ms. Bartling was the 6th oldest known living of the currently remaining German Supercentenarians.
Currently still left 5 known SC´s, of which is an in Limbo and one birthday not confirmed yet.
Rest in eternal peace, Ms. Ilse Bartling ! Farewell.

She died at the same age as:

She was considered the 98th oldest living person in Europe, but at the age she died she would be the 100th considering there were no deaths in those ahead of her, 140th oldest in the history of Germany, and the 2nd oldest living person living in Lower Saxony
