A previously unknown supercentenarian, of almost 113 years old, passed away recently in Paris, France.

Jéromine Guiltat (née Rocco) was born in Calvi, Corsica, on 26 June 1911 and died last 7 April at the age of 112 years and 286 days.

She may have been, at the time of her death, the fourth oldest living person in France, and the oldest person ever from Corsica.

She was revealed by the monthly deaths files and her age confirmed by her birth and death certificates.
