Mr. John Farringdon, the 2nd OLM in the UK sadly passed away today in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England at the age of 111 years and 2 months.
He was born in Enfield, north London (UK), on 7 June 1913.
He was the 2nd validated OLM in Europe and 3rd validated OLM in the World.
May he rest in peace.

Now after this news I can't say again that this is a great month for England, they lost their country's second oldest man, the first time I saw John Farringdon he reminded me of one of my favorite actors Michael Caine, as he looked similar to him, curiously they are both from England and Caine is 20 years younger than Farringdon.

He died at the same age as Ingeborg Frundt (GER) 1913-2024, 41st oldest living person in Europe at the time of his death, 10th oldest man in UK history, 6th oldest to be born in England, 8th oldest to die in England, 148th oldest man in history, 113th oldest person in UK history, 44th oldest man in European history
