Ms. Maria Carpatachi of Trieste, Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, Italy, sadly passed away yesterday, aged 110 years old and 271 days.
She was born in Symi, South Aegean, Rhodes, Greece on 14th October 1913.
She was the 12th OLP in Italy and the OLP in Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region.
She met the Pope 5 days ago in Trieste.
