Sadly, Marion Dawson passed away on 20 July aged 111 years, 183 days.
Scotland's oldest known person is now the anonymous woman born on 3 October 1915 and living in Aberdeen. However, I believe it is likely that there is someone older.

She was the 36th oldest living person in Europe, the 7th oldest living Great Britain, and the 8th oldest person in Scottish history. She died at the same age as Maria Bigue (FRA, 1886-1998) and Frederica Sagor Maas (USA, 1900-2012).
