Maxine Hix would be the second oldest person living in California, born on March 22, 1913, but she died on July 22, 2024
She died at 111 years, 122 days, the same age as Shie Kitai (JPN, 1887-1998) and Rozalia Milczarek (POL, 1869-1981)
His Sister was also a supercentenarian (Mildred Layfield (1908-2020))

That's a different Maxine Hix in the obituary. The source for her date of death is private.
