She was born as Petra Anderson on a farm near Rhame, North Dakota, on 4 July 1914. She was the second of four daughters born to Norwegian immigrants. As a child, she attended Langberg School. In the late 1920s, Klug’s family became the first in the area to own a telephone. She and her sisters would assist their father with farm work, particularly tending the horses, cows, and hay bales.
Klug graduated high school in Rhame as valedictorian, then attended Aberdeen Business School for seven months. Throughout the 1930s, she worked at a land office and Farmers’ Union. She married Bruno Klug in 1941 and had three children: Bonnie, Dale, and Linda. She sold eggs and cream to support the family. In 1952, the Klugs built a new house.
Following the death of 113-year-old Clarabell Demers on 17 January 2024, Klug became North Dakota’s oldest known resident.
Rest in peace.

Petra Klug passed away on 21 November 2024, as written in her obituary. This list from which she was removed in November 2024 confirms this (she was on the list since 2020). I don't understand how LQ made this mistake...
@livinnho See the two different dates in title (July 4, 1914 - June 26, 2025) and the text (passed away on November 21, 2024) in the obituary, but see that the
Memorial Services for Petra will be held on Tuesday, July 1. 2025 .
There was in error in the death date
This has nothing to do with it. Did you even check this information before contradicting me? I did check. Her parish removed her from that list in November 2024, immediately after her death, even though she had been on it since 2020. Another woman on the list died in December and was removed a few days later… Is no one really going to update her date of death?!
it only says 'to keep Petra in her prayers' it doesn't say she passed away. Was it when she was unwell or did they make condolences to her? This has nothing to do with it. Did you even check this information before contradicting me? I did check. Her name had appeared on all the lists posted by the parish since 2020; they were praying for her. The list above is the last one in which Petra appeared, posted on 21 November 2024. The following week, her name was removed because she had passed away; this is what I'm trying to explain.
There's a comment from Marilyn (Wolberg) Keating where she says she was sad to learn that she died last fall, therefore it matches the date of November 2024. However, we don't know if she based this on the date given in the text, or if she actually learned this information last fall. Since she's a family friend, based on her text, I believe she does know the date of her death, so I believe this could be good evidence that she died on November 21, 2024.
Thank you. I've explained everything there was to explain here. I don't understand why LQ doesn't correct her date of death.

@billy-robinson My grandmother's funeral was 2 months after her death. It might have been a matter of scheduling it so that certain loved ones could attend, but we can't be sure.
