Yes indeed … Rest in peace Mr Ping.
I hope you can one day claim a place as the World’s Oldest Man… for yourself and your country.

Exactly, this validation for China would be sensational, a country with little tradition in validations of supercentenarians, I really hope that more cases from this country and others in Asia and elsewhere in the world begin to be studied and validated, despite all the difficulties involving this study due to the little information and trust that researchers see in documents from these countries
RIP Mr. Shi Ping, posible WOLM candidate
Rest in eternal peace after a long life, Mr. Shi Ping (1911-2024).
I have found a university graduation certificate from Shi Ping, which shows that he was already 26 years old in 1936

Wow, sensational, but then he would have been born in 1910?
@diego In China, pay more attention to the nominal age rather than the full age, so the graduation certificate indicates that Shi Ping was born in 1911
He is now pending validation from the GRG with a birthdate of 1 Nov 1911.

Moon Fun-chin is verifiable, no? But he moved to the US as an infant and was born to a US citizen father, so he's not really comparable to someone who spent their entire life in China.
Anyway, may Mr. Shi Ping RIP and I hope that he can be validated in the future.
@futurist I'm surprised he is not validated already - I believe someone affiliated with LQ said that he would be validated when he reached his 110th birthday.

Yes, I think that @Mendocino might have said that. I wonder what specifically is contributing to the holdup. A shortage of documentation?
