Suor Serafina, born Anna La Morgia, of Rome, Lazio Region, Italy, sadly passed away on 17 July 2024, aged 111 years and 91 days.
She was born in Lanciano, Chieti, Abruzzo Region on 17 April 1913.
She was the 8th OLP in Italy and the OLP in Lazio Region.
(confirmed by personal chat of the italian team with the nunnery where she lives)

p.s. Suor Serafina had a twin sister, Suor Modesta, also a nun, died at 98.

She was the 42nd oldest living person in Europe, the 17th oldest ecclesiastical person in history, the oldest person in Lazio, who is now Maria Gabriella Lerchenthal born on 8 June 1913 in Germany in Munich and living in Rome, she is the 8th oldest person in Italy, the 71st oldest person in the history of Italy, she died at the same age as Blanche Aubertin (FRA, 1900-2011) and Karen Jespersen (DEN, 1889-2000)
