Ms. Anna Furrer-Omlin sadly passed away on 23 February 2025 at the age of 111 years in Erstfeld, Uri, Switzerland.
She was born on 23 June 1913 in Sachseln, Obwalden, Switzerland
She was the oldest living person in Switzerland.
RIP Ms. Furrer-Omlin

She is the 4th oldest person in the history of Switzerland, her successor is the 15th
She was the oldest living person in Switzerland for exactly 1 year, the shortest time since Frieda Binz-Schoch, which was between 27 Aug 2017 and 28 Dec 2017

She died at 111 years, 245 days, the lowest age since Frieda as well (109 years, 352 days)
She was the first person from Uri to be considered the oldest in the country
He was the 21st oldest living person in Europe,72 in the world
