Ms. Anne Zando of Somerset, New Jersey (USA) sadly passed away on 25 July 2025, one day before turning 111.

She was born in Switzerland on 26 July 1914. Her family immigrated to the United States when she was 15, just as the Great Depression was beginning. Later, she returned to Europe but fled again at the start of World War II, eventually making her way back to the United States.
