Ms. Berta Rufina Moya Rivera of Talcahuano, Bío Bío Region, Chile, sadly passed away on 4 May 2025, aged 111.
She was born in Lebu, Bío Bío Region, on 13 October 1913 (claimed 13 August). In 1928, she moved to Talcahuano because one of her sisters resided there. It was in Talcahuano that she met her future husband, a sailor, with whom she had three daughters.
She was the second-oldest known living person in Chile at the time of her passing.
