She died on 1 February 2025?

As you can see from the sources posted by Ale, Mrs Nakamura was not alive on 1 February 2025 - the monthly statistics show that she was still present/alive on 27 December 2024, but no longer on 31 January 2025. Combining this with the press release by the prefecture on 4 February 2025 (announcing Sawa Murachi as its oldest living resident after the death of its former one), it seems likely Mrs Nakamura died in late January 2025. I am not sure why the GRG would ignore this information, but then again, the GRG has lately taken more incomprehensible, baseless, and painfully and plainfully wrong decisions.

May she rest in peace.

Overduidelijk misschien.

Do you know Sawa Murachi's date of birth?

Do you also know the city where Sawa lives?

At the time of her death announcement, she was listed as the 57th oldest living person in Japan and the 258th oldest in the world, making her the 10th oldest person in Shiga's history.

RIP
