Maria Alaíde Menezes - of Ribeirópolis, Sergipe, Brazil - sadly passed away on the morning of 30 March 2025, at the age of 112. She was born on 5 July 1912 and was the oldest living person in the state of Sergipe.

She is the 26th oldest person in the history of Brazil (if validated), she was the 7th oldest living person in Brazil, 90th oldest person in the history of South America
