Queen Elizabeth II, after reaching the amazing milestone of 70 years of queenship earlier this year, has now turned 96! Although she is not the longest reigning monarch of all time (yet ;)), is there a chance she is the oldest to actually still be an active monarch?

In Wikipedia there are listed some old claims older than her, however I don't know how credible they are.

EDIT: Wow, look at the huge gap between her and the next-oldest living state leader: almost 7 years!
