Famous Brazilian football/soccer player Pelé sadly passed away today, 29 December 2022, due to cancer, aged 82 years, 67 days. He was born on 23 October 1940. Rest in peace. 😢

Interested in supercentenarians since 27 July 2018.
First supercentenarian I learned about: Kane Tanaka (1903-2022)

Rest In Peace Pele.

As a very small child I remember your amazing football gifts.

The best ever in my own personal opinion.

You are always entitled to your own opinions Diego, if they differ from others.

Better to express it respectfully on the same thread, rather than posting a dislike and doing nothing.

cheers

Chris

He just didn't like him, he had a daughter who suffered the same as him and he didn't recognize her and didn't help her, sports was a cheater, counts goals playing for the army in which there were no professionals playing, only him, are not official games, I have dislike for him

@diego It is understandable that we all have likes and dislikes. I do however not believe that a thread about someone's passing is the right place to discuss this.

I’ll take the blame for that 930310, with my post above.

I thought Diego may have preferred Maradonna or another football genius as the greatest player, rather than the issues that have been raised.
