Vidar Eide is currently the oldest known living person in Norway. An article was just published about him two days ago.
He still lives on his own in the same house he was born in back in 1914.

Mr. Eide is still creating hand-crafted shoehorns (skoskeier) as of 15 November 2023
He also included a hand-written note:
"Handmade shoehorn of Norway's oldest man! 109 kroner, one krone per year".

Mr. Eide became the oldest known living man in Norway, following the death of 105-year-old Alf Olsen on 14 March 2020.
He became the oldest known living person in Norway, following the death of 108-year-old Elsa Gundersen on 28 April 2022.
He was the Doyen of Norway and the 2nd Oldest Living Men in Nordic Countries (behind Mr. Westergaard) at the time of his death. He was also the 4th Oldest Men Ever lived in Norway behind Mr. Smith-Johannsen, Mr. Hovatn and Mr. Rustad.
