The anonymous lady (116) has not yet been verified. A good friend works at a municipal office (register office) in Germany. (I myself live directly on the border with Germany...)

I called him about the matter and he told me that German municipalities only allow congratulations through the President of Germany if the jubilarians are officially known and have lived in the municipality for many decades. Very often they were even born there.

Such letters are almost never requested from residents with an migrant origin by the way. And this is not done with obscure persons, especially who came running up from foreign countries in the last 20 years. So his direct quote.

Just for an Update, Ilse Neumann and Bruno Kant are still ALIVE. A user who made this change on the GW with the 'sources' was actually the person who made the memorial on Ilse and Bruno, which includes LOTS of mistakes and fabrication.

Elisabeth Bonte passed away on 25 December 2025, and Else Tostmann passed away likely at the end of December 2025 (considering she was in the hospital earlier that month)

Maria Knebel entered on December 2, 2024.
North Rhine-Westphalia has only one name here; the last time this happened was on August 3, 2024.
Baden-Württemberg has no names here for the first time since this list began being published here.
Bavaria returns to this list; its last appearance was on January 10, 2025, with Elisabeth Wagner (#9).
For the first time, Hesse has two names here.
February 1, 2023, was the last time we had a man on the list, Johann Schornack (#3).
